King receives invitation from Iraq president to attend Arab summit

RIYADH — Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman has received on Sunday an invitation from Iraqi President Dr. Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid to attend the 34th Summit of the Council of the Arab League and the 5th Session of the Arab Economic and Social Development Summit that are scheduled to be hosted by Iraq later this month.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iraq Dr. Fuad Hussein handed the invitation to Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan during their meeting at the ministry's headquarters in Riyadh on Sunday.

During the meeting, both ministers reviewed the fraternal relations between the two countries. They discussed regional and international developments, as well as the efforts being made to address them. The meeting was attended by Deputy Minister for Political Affairs Ambassador Dr. Saud Al-Sati.
