RIYADH — The General Directorate of Passports has issued nearly 15,000 administrative decisions against violators of regulations during the last month of Shawwal. Penalties imposed on the violators included imprisonment, fines, and deportation.

The directorate, through its administrative committees in passport departments in various regions of the Kingdom, issued 14,800 administrative decisions against citizens and expatriates for violating residency, labor, and border security regulations.

The directorate called on all citizens and expatriates, including business owners and individuals, that they should not transport, employ, or shelter violators of residency, labor, and border security regulations, or conceal them, or provide them with any means of assistance in finding employment, housing, or transportation.

It urged to report violators of residency, labor, and border security regulations by calling the number 911 in the regions of Makkah, Riyadh, and Eastern Province and the number 999 in the rest of the Saudi regions.
