Saudi paramedics revive Pakistani man after cardiac arrest at Prophet’s Mosque

MAKKAH —
Emergency medical teams from the Saudi Red Crescent Authority in Madinah resuscitated a 45-year-old Pakistani man who suffered a sudden cardiac arrest while observing i'tikaf at the Prophet’s Mosque.

According to authorities, the incident occurred in the mosque courtyards, where the man collapsed unexpectedly.

Paramedics immediately responded to the emergency call and initiated cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), including the use of a defibrillator.

Thanks to their swift and professional intervention, the patient’s pulse was restored.

He was then transferred to Al-Safiyyah Health Center to receive further medical care.
