PYONGYANG — North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has reaffirmed his country's steadfast support for Russia’s military efforts and strategic objectives, during a meeting with Russian Security Council Secretary Sergey Shoigu in Pyongyang on Friday, according to North Korean state media.
Kim stressed that North Korea will “invariably” back Moscow in defending its sovereignty and security, as the two countries deepen their strategic alignment.
The leaders held discussions on regional developments and security cooperation, pledging to further expand their strategic partnership, particularly in the areas of defense and bilateral relations.
Kim extended his well wishes to Russian President Vladimir Putin and reaffirmed Pyongyang’s commitment to continued collaboration with Moscow on mutual interests. — Agencies
