JEDDAH — Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman received phone calls from French President Emmanuel Macron and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer on Thursday.

During the call, the Crown Prince and Macron discussed regional developments, notably the resumption of Israeli aggression on Gaza and efforts to halt the attacks and protect civilians.

The French president praised Saudi Arabia's hosting of the U.S.-Russian dialogue and the talks to resolve the crisis in Ukraine.

During his call with the Crown Prince, the British prime minister praised Saudi Arabia's important role in hosting the U.S.-Russia dialogue. They reviewed efforts being exerted to resolve the Ukrainian crisis.

The two leaders discussed developments in the Gaza Strip and their security and political repercussions. They reviewed several areas of existing cooperation between their countries and ways to develop them.

The leaders also discussed several topics of common interest.
