JEDDAH –
Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman received Saudi rally champion Yazeed Al-Rajhi at Al-Salam Palace in Jeddah on Thursday following his historic victory in the Dakar Rally Saudi Arabia 2025 in the cars category.

Al-Rajhi is the first Saudi driver to win the prestigious global motorsport event.



The Crown Prince congratulated Al-Rajhi on his achievement after a highly competitive race against top international drivers.

He emphasized that this milestone should serve as motivation for Saudi athletes to continue their development and strive for more success in the future.

Al-Rajhi expressed his deep gratitude to the Crown Prince for the reception, highlighting the leadership’s commitment to supporting athletes across all sports.

He noted that such encouragement inspires Saudi athletes to work harder, achieve excellence, and proudly raise the Kingdom’s flag in global and regional competitions.

The meeting was attended by Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal, Minister of Sports, and Prince Khalid bin Sultan Al-Abdullah Al-Faisal, Chairman of the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation.
