MADINAH
The Ministry of Interior is intensifying its efforts at the Prophet’s Mosque during Ramadan 2025, with various security and service sectors implementing integrated plans to enhance security, manage crowds, and provide humanitarian support and services.

Public Security, represented by the Special Forces for Hajj and Umrah Security, is overseeing the entry and exit of worshippers and managing crowds inside the mosque and its courtyards.

Modern technology, including smart surveillance systems and thermal cameras, is being employed to ensure smooth movement and maintain security.

The Traffic Department is also making extensive efforts to regulate traffic in Madinah, particularly on roads leading to the Prophet’s Mosque.

Measures include allocating pedestrian pathways, managing vehicle parking lots, and directing traffic in accordance with carefully planned strategies to accommodate peak population density. Smart technologies have been activated to monitor and streamline traffic flow.

The Civil Defense is reinforcing public safety measures through preventive supervision teams that ensure compliance with safety requirements in the Prophet’s Mosque facilities.

Human and mechanical support teams, along with modern field equipment, have been deployed to respond to any emergencies.

These efforts reflect Saudi Arabia’s commitment to ensuring the highest levels of security, safety, and comfort for visitors to the Prophet’s Mosque.

The initiatives also demonstrate the Kingdom’s dedication to serving the guests of God by providing them with the best possible experience, allowing worshippers and visitors to perform their religious rituals with ease and peace of mind.
