RIYADH – Saudi Minister of Culture Prince Badr bin Abdullah announced on Thursday the launch of a new Cultural Scholarship Program aimed at nurturing young Saudi talent by offering public school students the opportunity to study at prestigious cultural institutions abroad.

The program is designed to support students from the fifth grade of primary school to the third year of secondary school, enabling them to develop their artistic and cultural skills while receiving a comprehensive education.

Participants will attend internationally renowned cultural schools specializing in the arts, music, theater, and other creative disciplines, fostering cultural exchange and broadening their academic and professional horizons.

By immersing students in world-class cultural environments, the initiative seeks to equip them with the expertise needed to pursue higher education and careers in the cultural sector.

The curriculum will integrate core academic subjects such as mathematics and science with specialized training in the arts, ensuring a well-rounded education.

This program is a key part of the Ministry of Culture’s broader strategy to enhance cultural capacities and aligns with the objectives of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.

It aims to diversify cultural professions, encourage global cultural dialogue, and invest in the future of creative industries in the Kingdom.
