RIYADH – The Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) has announced the working hours for financial institutions in the Kingdom during the upcoming Ramadan, as well as Eid Al-Fitr, and Eid Al-Adha holidays this year.

In a statement posted to its official account on the "X" platform, SAMA said banks will be open to the public from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. during the fasting month. Financial transfer centers and payment service providers will operate from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., offering six flexible hours daily.

SAMA also provided the dates for the upcoming Eid holidays. Eid Al-Fitr holidays will begin on Sunday, March 30 (01/10/1446 AH), and end on Wednesday, April 2 (04/10/1446 AH). Eid Al-Adha holidays will start on Thursday, June 5 (09/12/1446 AH), and conclude on Tuesday, June 10 (14/12/1446 AH).

Despite the holidays, SAMA noted that bank branches, exchange centers, and payment service providers in Makkah, Madinah, and the border crossings will remain open to serve pilgrims and Umrah performers. Additionally, select branches in high-traffic areas will operate during specific times throughout the Eid holidays to ensure continued service.

These measures aim to ensure financial services are accessible to both residents and visitors during these significant religious periods.
