Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz reaffirmed his pride in the anniversary of Saudi Founding Day, a commemoration that marks nearly three centuries since the establishment of the Saudi state on the principles of security, justice, and unwavering faith.

In a message posted on his official X account, he stated: "We take pride in the anniversary of our blessed state's founding three centuries ago, built upon security, justice, and pure faith. Its path has remained steadfast ever since, leading our nation toward leadership and excellence in various fields."

On this occasion, King Salman and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman received congratulatory messages from leaders and heads of state, reaffirming the significance of the day in the Kingdom’s rich history.

Saudi citizens across the country are celebrating Founding Day on February 22, an annual national event that honors three centuries of Saudi heritage and achievements.

The occasion commemorates the pivotal moment in 1727 when Imam Mohammed bin Saud laid the foundation of the first Saudi state, setting in motion a journey that continues to shape the Kingdom's present and future.
