GAZA CITY — Palestinian resistance group Hamas released three more Israeli hostages on Saturday as part of a ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement with Israel.
The three captives—Or Levy, Eliyahu Sharabi, and Ohad Ben Ami—were handed over by Hamas fighters to Red Cross representatives in the central city of Deir al-Balah.
According to an Anadolu Agency reporter, one of the freed captives was seen wearing an Israeli military uniform, while the other two were dressed in brown clothing.
Red Cross representatives signed documents to formally receive the captives before transporting them in vehicles to be handed over to the Israeli army.
The Israeli military confirmed that it had been notified by the Red Cross about the handover of the three hostages.
As part of the exchange, Israel is set to release 183 Palestinian prisoners in return for the three captives. — Agencies
