JEDDAH — Ivan Toney led Al Ahli to another Saudi Pro League victory, scoring twice from the penalty spot in a 2-0 win over Al Fateh in Matchweek 19 at Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Stadium.

With the win, Al Ahli reached 38 points, maintaining fifth place in the league table as they prepare for a highly anticipated clash against third-placed Al Nassr. Meanwhile, Al Fateh remained at 10 points, sitting at the bottom of the standings.

The match saw two penalties awarded to Al Ahli, both converted by Toney. The first came in the 17th minute, after a foul inside the box resulted in a red card for Al Fateh’s Hussein Qassem. Toney calmly placed his shot past the goalkeeper to open the scoring.

In the 62nd minute, Al Ahli was awarded another penalty, with Toney once again stepping up to double the lead.

The match also featured a red card for Al Ahli, as Saad Baluibed was sent off after receiving a second yellow card, confirming his suspension for the upcoming match against Al Nassr.

Al Ahli will now turn their focus to their next fixture, aiming to continue their push up the league table in what promises to be a thrilling encounter against Al Nassr.
