JEDDAH — French football star Karim Benzema, currently playing for Saudi club Al-Ittihad, rekindled fond memories of his time at Real Madrid during a special visit to the Spanish team’s camp in Jeddah, where the Spanish Super Cup is being hosted.

Benzema, who spent over a decade with the European giants, was warmly welcomed by the Madrid squad, including manager Carlo Ancelotti.

Real Madrid's official account on "X" shared moments from the visit, including a video and photos that quickly gained widespread attention.

In one of the images, Benzema is seen surrounded by Real Madrid players, with younger stars in particular showing admiration for the legendary striker, who remains an inspiration for aspiring footballers.

Benzema joined Al-Ittihad in June 2023 in a landmark transfer that drew global attention.

Since then, he has been delivering standout performances for the Saudi club, including a pivotal role in eliminating Al-Hilal in a marathon quarterfinal clash of the King’s Cup at Riyadh’s Kingdom Arena.
