RIYADH Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan held wide ranging talks with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the new Syrian Administration Asaad Al-Shaibani in Riyadh on Thursday.

The two ministers reviewed the current situation in Syria and the efforts being made to address it.

Prince Faisal reaffirmed the Kingdom's supportive stance for all initiatives aimed at achieving security, stability, and sovereignty for Syria. They discussed ways to support everything that contributes to a prosperous future filled with security, stability, and prosperity for Syria and its people.

The ministers also addressed various topics aimed at preserving Syrian state institutions and resources, ensuring Syria's return to its natural position in the Arab and Islamic worlds. The meeting was attended by several officials from both sides.
