RIYADH Saudi Arabia expressed deep regret over the shooting incident that resulted in the death and injury of a number of people in the city of Cetinje in Montenegro.

In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the Kingdom's sympathy and offered sincere condolences to the families of the deceased and to the people and government of Montenegro. The ministry wished the injured a speedy recovery.

A gunman has killed 12 people, including two children, before killing himself, in a series of shootings in southern Montenegro on Wednesday. At least four others were wounded in the shooting rampage that followed a bar brawl. The shooter, identified as 45-year-old Aco Martinovic, killed the owner of the bar, the bar owner's children and his own family members, officials have said.
