ANKARA The Saudi-Turkish Joint Military Committee held its sixth meeting at the Turkish General Staff headquarters in Ankara. The meeting was co-chaired by Saudi Chief of General Staff Gen. Fayyad Al-Ruwaili and Turkish Chief of General Staff Gen. Metin Gürak.

The committee discussed ways to further strengthen cooperation and coordination between the two countries in the defense and military sectors, as well as several other issues of common concern. Several high-ranking officers from the Saudi and Turkish armed forces attended the meeting.

Al-Ruwaili also met with Turkish Minister of National Defense Yaşar Güler. During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and areas of cooperation in matters of defense.
