Riyadh hosts international coffee and chocolate expo

RIYADH — The International Coffee and Chocolate Exhibition has kicked off in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, featuring participation from over 350 local and foreign entities.

The event, running until December 15, 2024, has drawn representatives from 40 countries, showcasing the latest innovations and advancements in the coffee and chocolate industries.

This annual event, recognized as one of the world’s premier specialized exhibitions, includes diverse contributions from governmental bodies, entrepreneurs, and productive families. It offers an array of workshops, discussion panels addressing industry challenges and solutions, and specialized training courses conducted by professional trainers in the coffee and chocolate sectors.

Dubbed the "green gold," coffee takes center stage at the exhibition, with updated statistics and data on investment volumes, economic returns, and consumption trends both locally and globally. The event aims to foster opportunities for creative individuals and aspiring entrepreneurs while providing a platform to launch new products and attract investors.

As Saudi Arabia ranks among the top Arab countries for coffee consumption and tenth in Asia, the exhibition reinforces the Kingdom's position as a hub for coffee-related trade and innovation. — SG
