RIYADH — Brig. Gen. Turki Al-Maliki, spokesman of the Coalition Forces, denied claims pertaining to handing over the body of a Houthi leader's brother. "What was mentioned in the statement of the Houthi leader and circulated by some Houthi-affiliated websites regarding the handing over of his brother's body is inaccurate and lacks credibility," he said.
Al-Maliki reaffirmed in a press statement that the Coalition deals with the file of prisoners and detainees and the repatriation of the bodies of fighters as a purely humanitarian one that must not be politicized by any parties, and this is taking into account of the values of the tolerant Islamic Shariah, humanitarian principles, and cultural and social norms.
