RIYADH — Units from the Armed Forces are participating in the joint Saudi-Egyptian exercise "Piercing Arrow 2024," taking place in the Arab Republic of Egypt from November 9 to 21.
Maj. Gen. Adel Al-Balawi, head of the Saudi Armed Forces Education and Training Authority, emphasized that this participation is in line with the training directive for the Armed Forces for the year 1446-1447 AH. The directive includes both joint and mixed exercises conducted inside and outside the Kingdom, aimed at enhancing training, qualifying military personnel, and developing their skills.
He noted that the Armed Forces, represented by the land, naval, air, and air defense forces, are actively involved in the exercise.
The joint Saudi-Egyptian exercise "Piercing Arrow 2024" is designed to strengthen military cooperation between the armed forces of the two countries, foster collaborative efforts, and achieve operational compatibility between the Saudi and Egyptian armed forces.
