RIYADH — MBC Group has announced the return of Arabs Got Talent for its highly anticipated seventh season, premiering on October 16. For the first time, the show will be broadcast from MBC’s new studios in Al Narjis, Riyadh.

Season 7 of AGT brings back Lebanese superstar Najwa Karam and Saudi acting legend Nasser Al Qasabi to the judging panel, with Egyptian comedian and TV presenter Bassem Youssef joining as a judge for the first time.

The show will be presented by the popular host Raya Abirached, with episodes airing on MBC1, MBC Masr, MBC5, MBC IRAQ, and the Shahid streaming platform.

Reflecting on the show's return, Nasser Al Qasabi expressed his excitement, calling AGT one of the most significant programs in entertainment history. He praised the addition of Bassem Youssef to the judging panel, noting the chemistry between them and Youssef’s authentic and lively personality.

Lebanese singing sensation Najwa Karam shared her enthusiasm for returning to AGT, highlighting her empathy toward contestants and the panel's cohesive dynamic. She emphasized the importance of balancing emotion with decisiveness when evaluating talent.

Bassem Youssef, making his debut as an AGT judge, spoke about the challenge of evaluating contestants and his long-awaited collaboration with Nasser Al Qasabi. He praised the chemistry between the judges and expressed his goal of balancing entertainment with respect for the hard work of the participants.

Host Raya Abirached commented on the excitement surrounding the new season after a five-year hiatus and the impact of social media on the show’s reach. She noted that AGT combines emotion with professionalism, creating a unique and memorable experience for both viewers and contestants.

Season 7 will feature five audition episodes, four semi-finals, and a grand finale, where the winner will be crowned. — SG
