JEDDAH — Medical examinations have revealed that Portuguese player Danilo Pereira of Al Ittihad has sustained an injury to his right calf muscle.

The club announced that he will commence a treatment and rehabilitation program under the supervision of the medical staff, who will determine when he can return to team training based on his recovery progress.

Pereira was injured early in the second half of the recent league match against Al Hilal, which ended in a 3-1 defeat for Al Ittihad.

As a result, Pereira is confirmed to miss the upcoming match against Al Ain on Tuesday in the Round of 32 of the King’s Cup, and he is also expected to be unavailable for the league match against Al Khaleej on Friday.
