MAKKAH — Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan met today with the United Nations Senior Humanitarian and Reconstruction Coordinator for Gaza Sigrid Kaag in Madrid on Thursday.

The meeting was held on the sidelines of Prince Faisal’s participation in the annual meeting of the European Council on Foreign Relations in the Spanish capital.

During the meeting, they discussed the importance of delivering adequate and sustainable humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip, and the necessity of reaching a ceasefire to stop the worsening humanitarian catastrophe in the strip.

The meeting was attended by Saudi Ambassador to Spain Princess Haifa bint Abdulaziz Al-Muqrin, and Director General of the Office of Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdul Rahman Al-Daoud.
