RIYADH — Mahd Sports Academy has announced the appointment of Mike Puig as Deputy CEO for Sports.

Puig, who comes from Barcelona Academy, brings extensive experience in sports management and talent development across various age groups.

Puig has previously held several positions at FC Barcelona, including Director of Barcelona Academy and CEO of the Academy.

Additionally, he served as General Manager of the club's schools, where he achieved significant milestones, such as developing academy players to represent Barcelona’s first team.

He also established a new structure for the academy schools in collaboration with physical education teachers in Barcelona. His career is marked by a clear impact on enhancing the club's social values and prioritizing the holistic development of young athletes.

Puig's appointment at Mahd Sports Academy is attributed to his extensive practical experience in various sports academies and schools, as well as his expertise in developing and implementing short- and long-term sports strategies that align with the academy's vision.
