JEDDAH — The Jeddah Historic District Program announced the opening of its first trio of heritage hotels, under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture and managed by Al Balad Development Company, a Public Investment Fund (PIF) entity.

This landmark initiative aligns with the highest international preservation standards and UNESCO's guidelines, reflecting the district's status as a World Heritage Site since 2014.

The trio, comprising Beit Jokhdar, Beit Al-Rayess, and Beit Kedwan, have been meticulously restored to blend their historic architectural elegance with a contemporary vision.

This effort underscores the Kingdom's dedication to safeguarding its rich cultural legacy, with each hotel uniquely showcasing the historical essence and architectural diversity of the area.

Beit Jokhdar stands out with its elaborately adorned wooden balconies, marking it as one of the region's most distinguished buildings. Beit Al-Rayess captivates visitors with its internal courtyard, encircled by stone arch-topped columns, offering a serene and inviting atmosphere. Positioned near the bustling Naseef Square in the Al-Alawi Market, Beit Kedwan highlights its prime location with ease of access to local culture and commerce.

These heritage hotels, soon to be under the stewardship of Albalad Hospitality, Al Balad Development Company's operational branch, promise to offer unparalleled and genuine hospitality experiences. Emphasizing the deep-seated cultural heritage of the region, these establishments aim to foster a warm, authentic atmosphere for guests, further enhancing the Jeddah Historic District's appeal as a globally recognized cultural destination.
