Nearly 1 million people benefited from humanitarian surgical services provided by Saudi Arabia globally

The spokesperson of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), Samir Al-Jutaili, confirmed that nearly 1 million people benefited from the humanitarian surgical services provided by Saudi Arabia globally.

Al-Jutaili made the remarks while speaking to Al-Ekhbariyah, as he stated that the voluntary and humanitarian surgeries provided by Saudi Arabia have been implemented in more than 35 countries around the world.

He noted that KSrelief has performed more than 113,000 surgeries in the most needy countries, indicating that these surgeries are specialized and accurate, the most important of which are open-heart surgeries, catheters, and eye surgeries.

The number of campaigns implemented by KSrelief has so far reached to 403 campaigns, with a total number of volunteers exceeding 52,000, the spokesperson said.

He indicated that eye surgeries contributed to the restoration of eyesight to between 400 and 450 people in each campaign.
