Abbas, El-Sisi arrive in Jeddah to participate in Arab summit

JEDDAH — President Mahmoud Abbas of the State of Palestine arrived in Jeddah on Thursday to participate in the 32nd regular session of the Arab League Council.

President Abbas was received at King Abdulaziz International Airport by Deputy Governor of Makkah Prince Badr bin Sultan, Secretary-General of the League of Arab States Ahmed Aboul Gheit and a number of senior officials.

Earlier, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi of Egypt arrived in Jeddah to participate in the summit-level session of the Arab League Council.

President El-Sisi was received at King Abdulaziz International Airport by Deputy Governor of Makkah Region Prince Badr bin Sultan, Secretary-General of the Arab League Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Saudi Ambassador to Egypt Osama bin Ahmed Naqli and a number of senior officials. — SPA
