RIYADH — Jood Eskan Charity subscription closed with its target of more than SR1.5 billion being fully realized.

The donation campaign was inaugurated by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and the Crown Prince on the first day of Ramadan with a generous donation of SR150 million and was then followed by a flow of donations by other donors until it reached its full target which was announced Thursday.

The campaign has seen the contribution of a number of leading partners, including the General Endowment Authority, Al-Rajhi Bank, stc Group, the National Group for Housing, Ajlan and Brothers, Sumou Real Estate, Khuzam Real Estate, and Al Arabia Outdoor Advertising, an advertising partner.

As many as 5,250 families including 26,250 individuals throughout the country have secured ready homes, an unprecedented result in terms of charity fundraising recognized by Guinness World Records.
