JAKARTA — Saudi Arabia’s embassy in Indonesia has offered condolences to the families of the fire victims which broke out at a fuel storage station in the north of Jakarta. It has also wished the injuries a speedy recovery.

It is worth mentioning that at least 17 people have been killed, and dozens injured in the Indonesian capital, after a fire broke out in a state-run fuel storage station. The fire was brought under control by fire fighting forces.

Chief of Staff of the Indonesian Army Dudung Abdurachmann announced that investigations are under way to determine the cause of the fire at a facility run by the state energy company Pertamina’s (PERTM.UL), which broke out at 8:00 p.m. local time and led to the evacuation of densely populated neighborhoods.
