PlanasJEDDAH — Paolo Allego and Evelyn Santoc shall defend their titles when they bowl against fellow Damayan members who shall commemorate the Philippine Independence day Friday on an individual competition patterned to FEDBG monthly tournament, supported by Orient Provision Trading Company through Brand Manager Robert Bato, at the Bowling City here.
Allego won the title when he was able to pierce through the domination of Ed Sardi?a who, after searing 219, rattled on the ultimate game. Evelyn Santoc, with a determined endgame pursuit of 232 was able to share the crown with Carmen Lim at 402-all. Allego took last year’s championship at 405 2-game series narrowly eluding colleague Jett Santos who paced 402 on a strong 227 chase for second place, Sardi?a ranked third with 386 and Fred Cuenca was fourth with 357. Sally Sa?osa (368) and Nurisa Ramos (330) were the other winners at third and fourth behind Santoc and Lim.
This tournament shall roll at 8 A.M. Friday, allowing participants to check-in at 7:30 A.M. at Bowling City.
Champions and runners-up of this FEDBG-conducted Kalayaan Cup shall receive cash prizes and Makati Food grocery packages. Also expected to be in action are titlists Melvin Lising, Bobby Baraquel, Elo Manalo, Emil Payongayong, Jimmy Aragones, Rolly Vistal and perfect gamer Joel Nidoy. Rudy Jamon, Edris Mangoda, Med Ramos, Ver Jasa, Nards Hassan, Ester Santoc, Eloisa Fernandez, Mariz Resano, Aisah Silabay and Malou Nidoy shall also fit their skills against top aspirants.
