The Jeddah Cricket Association (JCA) has nominated Hani Hassan Ali Al Ghamdi as its patron with immediate effect. This was announced recently by JCA at a zoom meeting of its Core Committee comprising Faiz Al Abideen (chairman), Humayun Farooq (vice chairman), Aijaz Khan (president), Hamid Afandi (vice president) and Ahmed Bin Mahfooz (executive secretary).

Hani is an avid sports enthusiasts and has a keen interest in cricket activities in general and JCA activities in particular. With his appointment as patron, Hani will be of value addition to JCA as he has keen contacts in business community and is a qualified legal consultant.

The Jeddah Cricket Association thanked Al Ghamdi for accepting appointment as JCA’s patron and looks forward to a long and fruitful association, which will help the association in its cricketing activities particularly in building up a good relationship with Saudi Cricket Federation with cricket now being recognized as part of National Games in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
