JEDDAH — PR Arabia has launched its initiative to train students of the Faculty of Media and Public Relations at King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah in order to gain practical experience to assist them in students’ graduation projects.
The training courses include the principles of dealing with media, managing conferences and seminars as well as training them to develop media strategies and public relations on sound scientific bases to keep pace with the development of digital and social media in an ideal step for a national public relations agency to benefit these students.
A large number of students who participated in this initiative have benefited from it and were a great example for Saudi youth, many of whom seek to contribute to this qualitative development of modern public relations concept and implementing it in their work after graduation.
The agency’s PR expert and general supervisor of the implementation of this initiative Hassan bin Abdulrahman Al-Shehri said that this initiative comes within the objectives of the Agency to develop the concept of relations in line with the new concept. It also comes within the Agency's strategy to attract talented Saudi youth after graduation and their work engagement and is part of the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 to localize the basic jobs needed by both the private and public sectors. — SG
