Joy rider sentenced to prison, lashes

A youth was sentenced to one month in prison and 39 lashes for repeating the offense of joy riding for the third time.

HAIL — A youth was sentenced to one month in prison and 39 lashes for repeating the offense of joy riding for the third time. Hail traffic police chief Col. Badr Al-Dhawi said such acts on public roads will not be tolerated as they pose hazards to others. He added that traffic police patrols will deal strictly with such behavior and that all necessary measures will be taken to limit this trend.
