Victim of a man with psychological problems

The mother of seven-year-old Zakariya Al-Jaber did not know that her son would die tragically in Madinah. The boy’s throat was slit in front of his mother by the hand of a man who had psychological problems. Unfortunately, people with psychological disorders live among us without any signs that indicate their illness.

We are facing new cases of people with psychological disorders who may be dangerous to society. The blame falls on the Ministry of Health which was not supposed to let those people out on the streets, because they are like ticking time bombs. They should instead be kept in specialized facilities under medical supervision and provided with a suitable lifestyle. They should only be released when they are fully cured and with the signature of a specialized doctor responsible for sending them out into the world.

It is a shame to see some people on social media attempting to make the incident in Madinah a case of sectarianism in order to undermine Saudi society and its security institutions. We totally reject, this as there is nothing to suggest that it is true.

Proof of that is the officer who was injured while defending the boy. That is why we must not allow our enemies to ruin the image of Saudi society, where the spirit of brotherhood and patriotism remains under wise leadership.
