Crossing the red line

Crossing the red line

Hamoud Abu Taleb

THE vicious campaign against Saudi Arabia is continuing relentlessly. It is directly targeted at Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman. This meant targeting the future of Saudi Arabia, which the crown prince represents with his vision, ambition and swift decision-making.

The crown prince took quick steps to resolve issues that threatened the security of the Kingdom specifically and the Arab-Gulf region in general. Qatar from the start stood against Saudi Arabia as it acted as an agent of the forces of destruction and chaos.

In the next stage, these forces targeted countries of the region that still enjoyed stability, including Saudi Arabia, which stood firmly against this project of destruction and put an end to the dreams of its agents and mercenaries.

Never before the world media, US officials and members of the Congress had reached this level of audacity to speak against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

It is as if they were calling for direct interference to change the government of a sovereign country. How about if this country were Saudi Arabia with its deep Islamic and Arab roots, a country that is considered important for the global economy and that enjoys a great deal of respect among the community of nations.

The campaign against the crown prince, which is based on unproven accusations in the murder of journalist Jamal Kashoggi, is insolence. This unacceptable move is going to set a very bad precedence in global politics where such insolence is not rare.

Saudi Arabia is not a banana republic as was made clear previously, and the media and people who attack Saudi Arabia know this for a fact. They know that the Kingdom is a stable country, which by principle refuses any form of outside interference in its sovereign internal affairs.

Saudi Arabia does not allow anyone to cross the red line. If things reach such a level, we need to deal with seriously and strongly so that those who dare to cross the red line will learn that what they did was something unacceptable.

Never before the world media, US officials and members of the Congress had reached this level of audacity to speak against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
