If we want to understand what happened over the past few months, or maybe weeks, and what will happen in the future in the fight for power and wealth, then we have to understand the size of the European-American conflict.

THE Europeans invaded the Middle East early last century in search of its wealth. They divided the wealth between them using many excuses and under different names: management, mandate and colonizing. The Europeans abandoned all other colonies after their wealth dissipated but they remained in the Arabian Gulf region.

It looks like the Europeans remembered the area again, this time through Iran, where they finally found what they were looking for: a land and a people that love living and wait for a moment of relief.

If we want to understand what happened over the past few months, or maybe weeks, and what will happen in the future in the fight for power and wealth, then we have to understand the size of the European-American conflict, which has reached the level of bone breaking. The world is paying the price, especially the allies of America in the region, Saudi Arabia in particular. This is an immoral fight where everything is used, from the mass media, which is tilted to one side, to trade and economy to human rights.

Saudi Arabia became a target because of its strategic relations with America and because Riyadh is transforming to become the capital of the Middle East and the beacon of future development. It is certain that when this happens, the capitals of many countries will be affected. Saudi Arabia will transform from a country that is supplying energy to the world into a country that is bustling with life. There are those in the neighboring countries, in the extended region and in the West who do not want to see this country developing beyond the point of selling oil.

This war is fought on different fronts and it is intensifying quickly in the Middle East. It was meant to make this part of the world a place for conflicts and settling of accounts.

A clear evidence for this is the case of Jamal Khashoggi, which was magnified by the European media and American liberals to the extreme level, despite the fact that this is a humanitarian issue that should have never been politicized and used as a lightning strike to hit Saudi Arabia. This is something that we need to stand against and explain.

The European-American conflict is based on two main highly complicated issues. The West in general is divided between hardcore liberals and aspiring nationalists, who see that they had given up their nationalist and Christian spirit as well as their values to the liberals.

Liberal extremists, who are in power in many countries, which are headed by homosexuals, inexperienced politicians who assert liberty and acceptance of others. At the same time, they do not want to see anyone who is not receptive of their liberal values anywhere in the world. They hate and fight stable governments, including that of Saudi Arabia, because they refuse to accept the imposition of these immoral values on their people.

With the world witnessing economic crises and shortage in liquidity, which is hitting the Western economies hard, the Europeans, especially Germany and France, have based their long-term economic strategies for the next decades on Iran, which they see as a source of energy, especially gas, in place of Russia, and a backyard for their products, companies and factories.

This is why President Donald Trump sees Iran as the source of all evils in the world and says it does not deserve the price offered by liberals in America and Europe. With Nov. 4 approaching, the world is awaiting tough economic sanctions against Iran. The sanctions include punishment for companies that operate Iranian ports and those who ship goods there. The sanctions will cover the Iranian energy sector and the Iranian central bank.

This is a bigger issue than a Saudi citizen vanishing inside the consulate of his country because of a mistake that was similar to many others made by several other countries. The ones in Abu Ghuraib prison and the detention of the head of Interpol are just a few examples. But this is an excuse the Europeans are using against Saudi Arabia. They are clearly telling Trump: Leave Iran alone and we will leave Saudi Arabia alone.
