JEDDAH — Virgin Megastore, the regional entertainment, gadget, and electronics store, opened its fourth outlet in Jeddah on Thursday, making it the store’s 8th in Saudi Arabia.

The new store, located at Al Salaam Mall’s recently opened extension, offers a diverse and exclusive collection of music, movies, books, multimedia and accessories, Red Box merchandise and stationery.

The official opening of Virgin Megastore’s fourth outlet in Jeddah witnessed the attendance of the consul general of Britain in Jeddah, Barrie Peach, officials of Virgin Megastore, local personalities and media representatives.

The new outlet marks the continued success and expansion of the brand in Saudi Arabia as per the plan of 2030 vision and the capital city of Saudi Arabia will witness the biggest branch in the world in 2019, according to Virgin Megastore CEO in Saudi Arabia Mohammad Ramadan.

Ramadan said: “Virgin Megastore is thrilled about the opening of another branch in Saudi Arabia to meet Saudi Arabia’s growing need for premium entertainment and lifestyle products and events.”

He added “Al Salaam Mall’s branch will continue to deliver more than just a shopping experience for our customers, but we also opened a new section which will soon be implemented in all Virgin megastores called “Virgin House” which features all home appliances and.”

He pointed out that the latest outlet located close to three major universities — King Abdulaziz University, Dar Al Hekma University and Effat University — offers a wide range of cutting-edge products and quality customer service to provide an unrivaled one-stop-shop experience for all lifestyle and entertainment needs.

During the opening ceremony at Al Salaam Mall, the official opening was inaugurated by the musical band "Kazanuta", and at the same time, Virgin Megastore surprised its first 100 customers with valuable gifts such as mobile phones, electronic games, shopping vouchers and hundreds of valuable prizes.
