AS a contribution to the objectives of spreading traffic awareness and support efforts to prepare women to take advantage of the High Order for allowing women to drive vehicles in the Kingdom in early next June, Al Jabr Trading Company, dealers of Kia Motors in the Kingdom recently sponsored the forum that was held under the slogan of “My driving style is my will” and auspice of Prince Saud Bin Nayif Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Governor of the Eastern Region and organized by the Traffic Safety Association last April 22-28 at Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University in Dammam whereas the Forum came within the framework of the Region keeping pace with the next phase during which we will witness women driving vehicles, which requires preparation and introducing women to the rules of good driving.

In addition to participating in the sponsorship of the forum, the company organized a live driving test for women on a variety of its distinguished vehicles under the supervision of female trainees specialized in this field. The ladies’ opinions were also explored to identify their choices in their future cars to be placed within the company’s policy for the next stage.

The participation of the company in the Forum of “Driving style is my will” comes as a continuation of the previous contributions which the company has raised their level and frequency in the current period to prepare all the users of the road to be more aware and committed to the imminent entry of the decision of women driving into force.

The company pointed out that the choice of the name of the gathering as “Forum” came because of the diversity of its activities, whereas it was accompanied by holding of workshops and lectures throughout the days, in order to achieve the message of the Forum and exhibition, which serves women in the Eastern Region, and provides the largest dose of awareness and knowledge of driving systems. — SG
