JEDDAH — The Izhaar Urdu Talk Masters, a Toastmasters club from the Area 34 of Division H of District 79 of Saudi Arabia, held its 97th meeting with the theme “Hunger”. TM Mohammed Abdul Sami, president of the club, welcomed all and was also the general evaluator for all the sessions.

TM Aslam Afghani hosted the prepared speech session. TM Mahtab Qadr was the grammarian and Aah counter of the evening. It was his responsibility to correct the mistakes of the speakers. TM Mohammed Shoebuddin was the timekeeper and TM Mirza Qudrat Nawaz Baig was the vote counter.

The meeting began with TM Amrina Qaisar presenting her project No 3 from CC Manual, She spoke on “A bud, A flower and a petal”. She was evaluated by TM Khaleel Ahmed. TM Moinuddin presented his project No 8 from CC Manual, He spoke on “What is credit card? Positive and negative impact of credit cards”. He was evaluated by TM Mohammed Aslam Afghani.

TM Syed Nasir Khurshid presented “Story Telling” from his advance project Manual 1. He was evaluated by TM Mohammed Abdul Sami. In the table topics session, TM Khaleel, hosted the session. TM Mahtab Qadr, TM Mirza Qudrat Nawaz Baig, TM Syed Nasir Khurshid, TM Aslam Afghani, TM Moinuddin, Mohammed Abdul Ghaffar Siddiqui Amir and TM Tabrez Khan participated in the first session. They were asked to give their views on “Are you Indian or Muslim First?

In the second session TM Amrina Qaisar, TM Shoebuddin, TM Mirza Qudrat Nawaz Baig, TM Syed Nasir Khurshid, expressed their views on “Why should one say his motherland as their mother”?

Earlier, Mirza Mohammed Nawaz Baig Aarib, 4th standard student of IISJ recited a beautiful poem on Urdu language “Zinda Zabaan Hai Urdu”.

TM Mohammed Abdul Ghaffar Siddiqui Amir played a small skit on “How mobile phone came into existence in one’s life?”

TM Abdul Sami, president, Izhaar Urdu Talk Masters, congratulated the winners. TM Mirza Qudrat Nawaz Baig announced the winners. Best prepared speech session award was given to TM Amrina Qaisar by TM Syed Nasir Khursheed, while best speaker for spontaneous table topic session award was given to TM Mirza Mohammed Nawaz Baig by TM Mahtab Qadr and the best speech evaluator award was given to TM Mohammed Aslam Afghani by TM Abdul Sami.

TM Abdul Sami proposed the vote of thanks and requested all the members to participate in the first SATAC which will help us in connecting and meeting other members of different clubs of Toastmasters.
