They say what they do not do

THE number of doctors smoke electronic cigarettes seems to have increased to an alarming rate. This is worrying because those doctors, who smoke cigarettes, send subliminal messages to the public telling them it is not dangerous to smoke electronic cigarettes. This negative practice can have a negative impact on medical college students.

Truth is we should not imitate the personal behavior of doctors when they are not practicing at the clinic because as I said there’s an increasing number of doctors who have taken up the habit of smoking in public.

The question that poses itself: Why do some doctors warn the public against the dangers of smoking while they themselves smoke?

Half the doctors, regardless of their different backgrounds and cultures, smoke cigarettes. The percentage of smokers differs from one society to another. The percentages are alarming. You can check the results of studies conducted in Arab and foreign countries.

It seems that doctors are living a credibility crisis because they warn people against smoking while they smoke in public without shame or embarrassment.

There are also doctors who perform gastric bypasses while they themselves suffer from obesity. It is a contradictory behavior, which I do not understand.

Those doctors ask patients to do something, which they would not do themselves. I think they do not live up to their principles.
