JEDDAH — A delegation including Lord Francis Maude arrived in Saudi Arabia to discuss various ways of business cooperation. The group met Saudi businessmen on Wednesday at Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The two parties highlighted the opportunities that Saudi Vision 2030 gives to foreign investments. They also discussed potential cooperation in technology and small businesses, along with ways ahead for future successful partnerships to develop the trade relations between the two kingdoms and hold joint economic forums.

The meeting also stressed on the need for partnerships between Saudi and British companies and the role that the Saudi British Business Council plays in introducing investment opportunities in the two countries, and enhancing commercial relations. The current bilateral commercial exchange between Saudi Arabia and UK is estimated at SR25 billion.
