JEDDAH — Hania Albarikan is a famous Saudi designer based in Riyadh known for designing luxurious high-end Abaya’s worn by the likes of Saudi Princess Ameerah.



HANIA, the luxury label brand has developed a collection of jalabiyas for Ramadan and Eid.



The jalabiya pieces are crafted from silks, chiffons and Japanese crepe materials and embellished with precious crystals from Swarovski to add a touch of glamor with specific handwork.



With sixteen different styles and a variety of vivacious colors to choose from, Albarikan offers something new this festive season.



The new collection is a fusion of traditional versus the elegance of 1960s. The Arabic influence helps express the designer’s vision for her customers who choose to represent their cultural identity while making sure they are fashionably aware and exclusive in doing so.



Hania Abayas were first sold at Saks Fifth Avenue and are also available at Harvey Nichols in Riyadh.



HANIA was selected by the Khaleji TV series’ "Al Sultana" producer to be the sponsor for actors’ Abaya (the series will be shown next Ramadan at Dubai, Rotana and on the MBC 1 channel).



Albarikan graduated with an economics bachelor’s degree but went on to study photography and fashion. 



She began as a consultant in 2011 for her family’s Abaya business, which led to her own fashion line, HANIA, which is still part of her family business.



HANIA is a success story of a young girl who was fascinated by the alluring world of fashion and was lucky enough to have all the support needed from within the family. Her vast exposure and knowledge keeps her at the forefront of the luxury fashion industry.



Within one year, she has achieved an astonishing amount of success and has a huge fan-base for her luxurious Abaya designs within the Kingdom with an elite clientele.



She uses finesse as a tool equipped with exquisite raw materials, expensive fabrics and elements from all over the world to design her customized collections.
