Cairo Jazz Festival to kick off next week

CAIRO
- The Cairo Jazz Festival (CJF) will take place this year at the American University of Cairo's Tahrir campus next week from Sept. 28-30.

CJF is a multi-national music festival that adds to the country's cultural and tourist appeal..

In addition to musicians from Egypt, the festival will host a diverse and eclectic lineup from 8 countries - Denmark, The Netherlands, Japan, Portugal, Austria, Hungary, Czech Republic and Panama.

The main performances will be hosted at the prestigious Memorial EwartHall while side programs and workshops will take place at Hall 602 on the AUC campus. Additional side shows and performances will be held at Cairo Jazz Club, Room Art Space and Semiramis Intercontinental Hotel.
