JEDDAH — For Dina, it all began with a dream. Founder of END Design, Dina Dahmash is a young interior architect based between London and Dubai.  END Design provides personalized interior design services for residential and commercial projects.

In an exclusive interview with Saudi Gazette, she said: “I have always dreamt of opening my own company. After the right education and work experience I decided to open END Design studio.”

END design is renowned for developing interiors for residential and commercial properties and also offers exclusive event planning services for selected clientele.

Their work is available worldwide through their website. They envision and deliver world-class interior design projects with attention to detail, in line with the sophisticated lifestyles of their international clientele. Dina said architects in the Arab world develop their own style and do not follow any patterns.

Dina does not have a signature style, and her project styles are all dependent on the client and their tastes.

However, she said: “My own personal style is eclectic.”

The facets and intricacies of architecture fascinate her. “I studied interior architecture. What fascinated me is the ability to completely transform something into something completely different. The field I am most interested in is the architectural part of design as I feel it is most challenging and rewarding when done well.”

Dina believes in generating stimulating and stylish solutions to transform once-in-a-lifetime events and creating memorable spaces. END Design Studio pays attention to detail in every project.

From kitchen cabinets to wall paintings, END Design Studio’s services are all-inclusive. Her first project was an apartment in Dubai. “I learnt a lot from my clients and we had fun sourcing furniture from all around the world.”

Different cultures and her family inspire Dina. “I plan to continue my work with new and exciting projects.”

Given a chance, without any limits, Dina said she would create a palace in India. She said the biggest attraction of her job was the satisfaction of creating a space, which defines the person living in it.

She also said it was most challenging to be able to step into the shoes of the client. She advised young designers and architects to always remain confident. “Do not stop yourself from fulfilling your dreams.” END Design has developed projects with clients in Miami, London, Amman and Dubai.
