Facebook copying Snapchat?

Facebook recently launched its latest features that include uploading stories that disappear and filters with funky effects. Many commented that like other social media apps, Facebook is copying Snapchat in replicating the same concept of 24-hour posts and adding filters with animals and animated effects as well as drawings and text. Apart from the existing messenger feature, the app also added direct messaging of sending photos and videos directly to friends. This comes in a wave of image-based communication, where other apps such as Whatsapp and Instagram have also launched stories in their platforms. It remains to be seen whether people will be willing to share their instant feed on multiple platforms or will have to choose a favorite among all the stories apps.
