JEDDAH — Egyptian film “Al Hafla (The Party)” was a major box-office hit. Starring renowned actors Ahmed Ezz, Ruby, Mohamed Ragab, and Jumana Mourad in the lead, the suspense movie which released earlier this year is still popular among the people.



“Al Hafla” revolves around the disappearance of Sarah (Ruby), the wife of Egyptian businessman Sherif Ezz El Din (Ahmed Ezz).



Sherif waits for Sarah in the parking lot while the latter goes to a supermarket. When Sarah does not return after a few hours, Sherif goes looking for her, and eventually finds her missing.



He files a report with police officer Farouk Abdul Karim (Mohamed Ragab). Investigations by Farouk reveal that the couple were at Nancy’s (Jumana Mourad) house for a party.
