ABHA — Security agencies in Asir have conducted an extensive crackdown on infiltrators into the Kingdom, nabbing 1,592 within a week.

The infiltrators are Yemeni, Somali, and Ethiopian and are being processed for deportation.

A special committee was formed by Asir Province to monitor levels and reports of infiltrators, headed by Assistant Deputy Asir Emir Maghdi Al-Wadaei.

The committee said reports of infiltrators have declined, as security bodies have intensified their campaigns to rid the province of them.
