RIYADH — Riyadh Police arrested three ATM servicing personnel working for a private security company for embezzling over eight million riyals in a span of four months.

Investigations started when the company’s representative filed a report with Al-Malaz District Police after discovering that SR 8,238,550 had been embezzled from different ATMs.

Riyadh Police investigators’ suspicions were directed towards a former ATM cash feeder who had close contacts with two current employees. When questioned, the suspects confessed to their deeds and led police to the hide-out where most of the money was hidden. They have all been referred to the Bureau of Investigation and Prosecution.
