CAIRO — Egyptian actress Yosra told “Al-Watan” Arabic daily that Egyptian TV shows will be back this Ramadan to regain their leading position among viewers following the decline which saw Turkish and Syrian drama series gain viewer following for seven years in a row.

She said fierce competition among the stars of Egyptian TV shows this Ramadan to present unusual plots should end the domination of Turkish drama shows. Yosra is currently shooting scenes for her TV series “Sharbat Loaz” which will be aired this Ramadan. — SG
