JEDDAH — The General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) postponed the deadline to June for international airlines to apply for a domestic license in Saudi Arabia.

GACA said the decision was taken to include more features and benefits for investors and to help carriers chart out technical and operational plans. GACA said it will make up for the delayed period by shortening the period of review.

The license will allow foreign airlines to operate in the domestic market.
