It was a very tragic incident.I have no words which can console the families who lost their near and dear ones in the tragedy that occurred in Ain Badr village during a wedding celebration last Wednesday. Twenty-five were killed and 30 wounded, mostly women and children, when a fire broke out as a result of wedding celebrants firing rifles. I hope that those who lost family members can have the strength to bear the loss of their loved ones. May God give them the strength to overcome the pain and sorrow.

Accidents can and do happen but incidents such at this are often caused by human error. A proper, detailed investigation is being carried out and I hope that it clearly determines the cause of this incident so that such tragedies will not occur in the future. My heartfelt condolences to the families of those killed in this tragedy. May the souls of those who lost their lives rest in peace.
